About Artil 500 mg Tablet:

Artil 500 mg tablet is an antibiotic, used for the treatment of susceptible bacterial infection.

Each Artil 500 mg tablet contains Cefuroxime Axetil equivalent to Cefuroxime 500 mg.

Cefuroxime is a beta-lactam antibiotic, which inhibits bacterial cell wall biosynthesis by binding to specific penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs), thus arresting cell wall assembly resulting in bacterial cell death.

Use of Artil 500 mg Tablet:

Artil 500 mg tablet is prescribed for the treatment of many different types of bacterial infections such as bronchitis, sinusitis, tonsillitis, ear infections, gonorrhea, urinary tract infections, skin & soft tissue infections, etc.

Usage direction of Artil 500 mg Tablet:

• Artil 500 mg tablet should be taken orally.
• Artil 500 mg tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
