About Aricep SR 23 mg Tablet:

Aricep SR 23 mg tablet is an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor, used to treat Alzheimer’s disease.

Each film coated sustained release Aricep SR 23 mg tablet contains Donepezil Hydrochloride 23 mg and Excipients q.s.

Donepezil reversibly and noncompetitively inhibits centrally-active acetylcholine-esterase that is responsible for the hydrolysis of acetylcholine. This inhibition increases the concentration of acetylcholine, which is involved in memory function.

Use of Aricep SR 23 mg Tablet:

Aricep SR 23 mg tablet is prescribed to treat dementia in people with mild to moderately severe Alzheimer’s disease.

Usage direction of Aricep SR 23 mg Tablet:

• Aricep SR 23 mg tablet should be taken orally.
• Aricep SR 23 mg tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
