About Alsartan AM Tablet:

Alsartan AM Tablet is a combination medication, indicated to manage high blood pressure, and lower the risk of other associated cardiovascular disorders.

Each film-coated Alsartan AM Tablet contains Losartan Potassium 50 mg and Amlodipine Besylate equivalent to Amlodipine 5 mg.

Losartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker. By relaxing the blood vessels, it lowers the blood pressure.

Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker. By relaxing the blood vessels, it lowers blood pressure, thereby, improving blood flow to the heart.

Uses of Alsartan AM Tablet:

Alsartan AM Tablet is prescribed for the management of hypertension (high blood pressure) and reduces the risk of other associated cardiovascular disorders.

Usage Direction of Alsartan AM Tablet:

• Alsartan AM Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
• Alsartan AM Tablet is to be taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dosage.

Precaution & Related information of Alsartan AM Tablet:

• Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is hypersensitive to Alsartan AM Tablet.
• Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is having any other complications.
• The physician should be aware of the concomitant use of Alsartan AM Tablet with any other medication.
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep out of reach of children.
