About Eglucent Mix 50 100 IU/ml Cartridge :

Eglucent Mix 50 100 IU/ml Cartridge is a Insulin Lispro Biphasic injection (50% Insulin Lispro and 50% Insulin Lispro Protamine Suspension). Each ml of Eglucent Mix 50 100 IU/ml Cartridge contains 100 IU (equivalent to 3.5 mg) Insulin lispro (r-DNA origin) as active ingredient, 3.78 mg Dibasic Sodium Phosphate as buffering agent, 16 mg Glycerol as tonicity modifier, 1 mg Liquified Phenol as preservative/stabilizer, 2.20 mg Metacresol as preservative/stabilizer, 0.19 mg Protamine Sulphate as Insulin Lispro complexing agent, Zinc oxide q.s. as stabilizer, Hydrochloric Acid (10%) q.s. and Sodium Hydroxide (10%) q.s. for pH adjustment and Water for Injection q.s. to 1 ml.

Eglucent Mix 50 100 IU/ml Cartridge is prescribed for the treatment of Type 1 & Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.

Usage direction of Eglucent Mix 50 100 IU/ml Cartridge :

• Use Eglucent Mix 50 100 IU/ml Cartridge exactly as prescribed by your physician.
• Before using know the process of adjusting pen with the respective cartridge. For proper using direction please follow the using instructions of enclosed leaflet.
• Inject your dose of Eglucent Mix 50 100 IU/ml Cartridge under the skin of your stomach area, upper arm, upper leg, or buttocks. Never inject Eglucent Mix 50 100 IU/ml Cartridge into a muscle or vein.
• Eglucent Mix 50 100 IU/ml Cartridge should be clear and colorless. Do not use Eglucent Mix 50 100 IU/ml Cartridge if it contains particles, is cloudy and discolored, or if the or container is cracked or damaged.
• Do not skip or change the dose without physician’s advice.

Precaution & Related information of Eglucent Mix 50 100 IU/ml Cartridge :

• Do not share your Eglucent Mix 50 100 IU/ml Cartridge or syringes with other people, even if the needle has been changed.
• Please take precaution during the use of Eglucent Mix 50 100 IU/ml Cartridge in case of Hypoglycemia, Hypokalemia, Hypersensitivity, Lipoatrophy, Lipohypertrophy etc.
• If you are taking any other medications and any other supplement please inform your physician.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Pregnancy & lactation: Please consult with your physician before use in pregnancy and lactation.
• Storage: Keep in a refrigerator at a temperature between 2°C - 8°C. Must not be allowed freeze. When in use, pens may be kept at room temperature (below 30°C) for up to 28 days.
