About Calpol Pedia Drops:

Calpol Pedia Drops belongs to the group of mild analgesics (pain killer) and antipyretic (fever-reducing) medicine indicated to ease mild to moderate pain and reduce fever.

Each ml (approx. 20 drops) of Calpol Pedia Drops contains Paracetamol 100 mg.

Paracetamol exerts analgesic and antipyretic effects by peripheral blockage of pain impulse generation and inhibition of the hypothalamic heat-regulating centre, respectively. It also exhibits weak anti-inflammatory activity by the inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis.

Use of Calpol Pedia Drops:

Calpol Pedia Drop is prescribed to ease mild to moderate pain and reduce fever. It is also used for the treatment of conditions including headache, backache, toothache, and common colds.

Usage Direction of Calpol Pedia Drops:

• Calpol Pedia Drop is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
• Calpol Pedia Drop is for paediatric use only.
• Unscrew the cover on the dropper. Pull out the teat and screw the dropper onto the bottle after removing the metal cap.
• Shake well before use.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not exceed the stated dose.

Precaution & Related information of Calpol Pedia Drops:

• If hypersensitive or allergic to Calpol Pedia Drops, inform the physician immediately.
• If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
• The Physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this drop with any other medicines or supplements.
• The lowest dose necessary to achieve efficacy should be used for the shortest duration of treatment.  
• Paracetamol overdose may be injurious to liver.
• Taking more than daily dose may cause serious liver damage or allergic reactions (e.g. swelling of the face, mouth and throat, difficulty in breathing, itching or rash).
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Calpol Pedia Drops:

• Store in a well closed container at temperatures not exceeding 30°C. Protect from direct sunlight. Do not freeze.
