About Agufer Tablet:
Each film coated Agufer tablet contains
Ferrous ascorbate equivalent to elemental
Iron 100 mg, Folic acid 1.5 mg, Zinc sulphate monohydrate equivalent to
elemental zinc 22.5 mg, and Excipients q.s.
- Ferrous ascorbate is the source
of iron, which is crucial for red blood cell (RBC) formation. RBC transports
oxygen throughout the body, thus exhibit a positive effect on energy and
prevent anemia.
- Folic acid is essential to
numerous bodily functions ranging from nucleotide biosynthesis to the
remethylation of homocysteine. It is especially important for
the production of healthy red blood cells and the prevention of
anemia.
- Zinc is essential for immune
function, wound healing, thyroid function, proper vision, and proper growth
& development during childhood, adolescence, and pregnancy.
Use
of Agufer Tablet:
Agufer tablet is prescribed for the treatment and prevention of
iron deficiency anemia. It can also be used to prevent iron, folic acid, and
zinc deficiencies during pregnancy, breastfeeding, after surgery, or in
conditions of nutritional malabsorption.
Usage direction of Agufer
Tablet:
- Agufer tablet should
be taken orally.
- Agufer tablet is
taken whole with the help of water.
- Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
- Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
- Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
